GB News presenter accused of offering colleagues money in exchange for explicit material but insisted any ‘criminal allegations’ were untrue
Dan Wootton, the GB News presenter, has had his MailOnline column paused while publisher DMG Media considers “a series of allegations” against him.
Mr Wootton, a broadcaster and former tabloid journalist, has a twice-weekly column with the online news outlet, the last of which was published on June 29.
The 40-year-old is accused of offering colleagues thousands of pounds in exchange for explicit material and has conceded he made “errors of judgment” but insisted any “criminal allegations” were untrue.
The disputed claims include that he used an online pseudonym to offer money to individuals for sexually explicit images.
