Jake and Logan Paul are amongst some of the biggest content creators in the world and the brothers once hated each other after battling for YouTube success
Jake and Logan Paul once “hated” each other as the brothers battled to determine who was the bigger content creator.
YouTube boxer Jake, who is set to fight UFC legend Nate Diaz in Texas on Saturday night, shot to internet fame a decade ago along with brother Logan after making videos on the now-defunct platform Vine. Their popularity eventually carried over to YouTube as the pair were two of the biggest video creators on the platform.
Both brothers made ‘diss tracks’ about each other after their fall-out as Logan’s track remains the highest-viewed video on his YouTube channel to date. New footage from Jake’s ‘Untold’ Netflix documentary has revealed how tensions eventually boiled over with Logan and led to them hating each other.
“In Los Angeles, we were more focused on business and making money, growing our brands. That became a competitive race. I wanted to prove to him that I’m legit and I can do this too. He wanted to prove to me that he’s the bigger brother and he’s going to get more followers than me, things just got too competitive,” Jake said.
