Insiders claim that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are “fed up” with the constant divorce speculation surrounding their relationship and insist that the couple’s marriage is fine
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly “fed up” with the persistent divorce rumours surrounding their relationship and will “fight tooth and nail” to stay together, according to insiders.
Rumours spread that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s five year marriage was coming to an end after Prince Harry released his memoir Spare and these only continued when he was seen going on a solo trip to Africa. Many speculated that Meghan was upset and concerned by the allegations included in the novel, and that was why she did not join Harry in multiple high-profile interviews promoting the memoir.
However, it appears that their relationship is on solid ground. A source told OK! that the couple were “fed up” with the negative claims about the nature of their marriage and insisted that Harry and Meghan have a strong foundation and are determined to work through any potential obstacles. The insider told the news outlet: “The Sussexes’ marriage is fine,” and added: “Even if there were struggles, Harry would want to make it work. He has invested so much time into their relationship and adores his family. Coming from a broken home himself, that’s extra motivation for him to keep his family together.”
Royal commentator Lara Asprey added to the conversation, and told the news outlet that both Prince Harry and Meghan have gone through the “traumatic experience” of living in a broken home, and they do not want to repeat that same experience for their children. Asprey insisted the couple’s top priority was the well-being of their children four-year-old Prince Archie and two-year-old Princess Lilibet.
