Police in urgent appeal as missing 14-year-old boy not seen for nearly two weeks

Missing teenager Michael Tilcock, 14, hasn’t been seen since July 21 he was spotted walking along a road in Luton – Bedfordshire Police believe he may have travelled to London

Police say they are getting increasingly worried about a teenager who has not been seen for nearly two weeks since vanishing on the last day of school.

Michael Tilcock, 14, was last seen at his home address in Luton before noon on Friday 21 July. Bedfordshire Police believe he was last been spotted in the Hockwell ring area of Luton.

The teenager may have travelled to London, and has been described as around 5’4″, with short brown hair and is believed to be wearing a grey tracksuit. He also wears glasses, detectives said on Thursday. He also may have his bike with him.

Residents on the road where he was last seen are now being urged to check any CCTV or Ring doorbell footage they may have as detectives ramp up the search. The force has also released a second picture of Michael in the hopes it will spark new leads on his whereabouts.
