Jonny Davis, 42, from South Wales, tragically died of a blood clot on the brain after suffering from “cluster migraines” for several months and having visited his doctor and opticians
Tributes have poured in for a “one of a kind” dad who tragically died from a blood clot on his brain.
Jonny Davis, from Rhondda, South Wales, was described by his family as a “big character” who “touched the heart of everyone he met”. The 42-year-old had complained of migraines for several months, and was rushed to hospital after suffering a stroke in the gym.
A CT scan revealed thrombosis and Jonny was put into a coma, but sadly died in the early hours of July 15, surrounded by his relatives. A carpenter by trade, he had a “love for making things and creating things – putting his stamp on everything,” said his partner Rhiannon Davies, 36.
Jonny started experiencing migraines last December, which got “worse and worse” and would cause him to lose his vision, she explained. He went back and forth to opticians, but they couldn’t see anything and thought he was suffering from “cluster migraines”.
