The standalone store in Littlehampton was confirmed for closure by New Look in a statement released to SussexWorld yesterday which thanked the stores colleagues and the local community for their support over the last few years. The post read: "Sadly, after many years with us here at Kings Chase, New Look will be closing their doors for the final time on Wednesday 9 August. We would like to thank Carol and the New Look Kingswood team for their service over the years and we wish them all the very best for the future." Just last month the fashion retailer shut the doors of four branches. These were in Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, Leister and Rhyl in Wales. The latest site to go comes after a string of closures earlier this year however New Look has previously defended the closures telling the Mirror that it was a "normal course of business".
