Day 14 of Women’s World Cup fixtures kicks off at 8am on Wednesday, August 2 with a double header of fixtures before France and Brazil are in action from 11am.
Following on from England’s phenomenal 6-1 victory against China in their final Women’s World Cup group stage on Tuesday, day 14 of the tournament gets underway again today.
Goals from Lauren James, Lauren Hemp, Rachel Daly, Alessia Russo and Chloe Kelly made sure the Lionesses cemented themselves into the round of 16, where they will face Nigeria on Monday August 7 at 8.30am back at Brisbane Stadium.
Groups A, B, C, D and E have all been decided, with the knockout stages beginning on Saturday, August 5.
Today Groups F and G will be decided. In the first games of the day with an 8am kick off BST, Argentina take on Sweden – with a number of WSL players in action – while South Africa take on Italy.
