Gregg Wallace ‘human meat’ mockumentary hit with more Ofcom complaints

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Gregg Wallace’s ‘human meat’ documentary has been hit with a wave of fresh Ofcom complaints after viewers were left appalled by its promotion of ‘cannibalism.’

The Channel 4 show followed the MasterChef presenter, 58, visit a factory with a twist: it ‘harvested human cells to produce burgers and steak’ at budget price points to beat the cost-of-living crisis.

The British Miracle Meat viewers watched on as scientists developed a new range of ‘premium’ products, made from the ’tissue of children under the age of six’ and called ‘toddler tartare’.

However, the documentary was a satire, a political comment on the crushing impact of rising energy and food bills, with the broadcaster stressing to Metro.co.uk that it was a ‘witty yet thought-provoking commentary on the extreme measures many people are being forced to take to stay afloat in our society during the cost of living crisis’.
