After confronting her neighbour about her dog's behaviour and asking her to put a higher fence up, the woman claims her neighbour told her to 'get a grip and stop acting entitled' for not letting their dogs meet. In the post she shared on Reddit, the anonymous woman asked people if she was an a**hole for asking her neighbour to block her dog from seeing into her garden as she wrote: "So I live in the UK and our gardens are pretty much just next to each other. My neighbour and I both have dogs. "Hers is a Golden retriever female and [mine is] An Alsatian and English mastiff pup who's eight months both females. For a long time (almost two years) my neighbours dog is always barking whenever my dogs are out in the back garden. Her dog will jump on the fence and bark at my two dogs. "I have to always make sure her dog is not outside when I let mine out to pee as her dog will just bark non stop and I have to drag mine back inside to stop it. I've put up a higher fence so her dog can't see over my fence anymore. Her dog is lovely but just pretty disobedient and she does try to call her back in but the dog doesn't seem to listen much. "She walks her daily too so she's a pretty good owner in my opinion but just lacks discipline. My dogs are pretty well trained and aren't angels but they never bark first at her dog.
