Mike and Nicki Portsmouth, 55, were delighted when they thought a new branch had opened up in the seaside village of Westward Ho!, Devon . 2 The house has been decorated with a blue and orange pattern which many have likened to B&M's logo. The blue and orange mural was supposed to be an abstract sunset, according to Mike, but turned out looking more like the budget chain's famous logo. After joking about the mix-up, the Essex couple posted a snap of the colourful property on social media where floods of comments poured in. Mike said: "We laughed about it when we saw it. We said it looked like B&M . I posted it on the group and cheekily asked when it was opening. "There are a lot of colourfully painted houses there but it's odd colours. They may be trying to mimic the sunset but it's B&M. "Apparently the lady who lives there has a good sense of humour so she may have done it on purpose." The 55-year-old holidaymaker explained they regularly visit the tourist hotspot and the new mural has only been there for a couple of weeks. Mike said it fits in with a lot of other houses on the "Balamory" street, and it's "a good thing" if it attracts more visitors. One person commented: "Where is this? B&M in the Ho! Whatever next." "Perfect having B&M in the Ho!", joked another. A third agreed: "I'm glad we weren't the only people who thought that." Someone else penned: "Fine if you want to be known as the house from B&M."
