Gunman opened fire at Jewish school after trying to break in

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

A man in Tennessee was shot by police after trying and failing to break through into a Jewish school, then firing shots outside the building.

Police in Memphis rushed to the Margolin Hebrew Academy around 12.30pm on Monday after receiving reports of a man armed with a handgun outside the school.

Margolin is an Orthodox Jewish yeshiva that serves students from kindergarten to grade 8. Its campus also houses the Feinstone Yeshiva of the South, which serves high school aged students.

The gunman fired his weapon outside the school, but no injuries were reported. He fled moments later in a maroon pickup truck.
