NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Max Verstappen could not believe his luck as yet another of his trophies was damaged following his win at the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix.
The Dutchman claimed his 10th win of the season, and his eighth in a row, at Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday, with Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez second and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc third.
Having also won the chaotic sprint race on Saturday, his championship lead has been extended to a whopping 125 points as we enter the summer break.
Relatively speaking, it wasn’t the smoothest of weekends for Verstappen who had to start the main race from sixth after receiving a five-place grid penalty for changing his gearbox.
