Dak Prescott has been given responsibility of the Dallas Cowboys offense with wide receiver CeeDee Lamb heaping pressure on the franchise quarterback ahead of the 2023 NFL season
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb says quarterback Dak Prescott is in full control of the offense ahead of the 2023 NFL season.
The Cowboys are giving Prescott, 30, the stamp of confidence to run their offense in the upcoming season, taking a large share of the responsibility from head coach Mike McCarthy, while also taking over from former offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.
There is also hope that the quarterback will build on last season, where he made an NFL-high 15 interceptions.
“All the offense is in Dak’s hands now,” Lamb told 105.3 The Fan. “It’s not necessarily being called from Mike or Kel since last year. It’s all on Dak. However he’s feeling versus the coverage, if he likes the matchup, we’re gonna call that play.”
