"Things were a bit sketchy in the house", Dave, from Ontario, Canada, told new site Need Know News. He continued: "Things were warped, crooked and the floor was extremely soft. Severe decay on the top floor from a hole in the roof has rotted right through to the ceiling and walls, down to the floor upstairs. Not realising how soft the floor was, my leg went right through and into the first floor, I managed to think fast and I caught myself before I dropped right down!" The house, in Southern Ontario, Canada, has seen severe water damage, causing large sections of the ceiling to collapse. Photos show a bed also slowly falling through the floor, sinking into the room below. When he went up the stairs, Dave was spookily greeted by a baby's cot that was covered with blankets and set next to another bed. A calendar from 1983 suggests the date the property was potentially abandoned – though this is not confirmed – along with vintage technology such as a toaster, old radio and four vacuum cleaners throughout the house. Social media users have been left stunned by the time capsule home, with many wondering why the owners left it in a hurry. One user named only as Diane said: "This place is fantastic and remarkably well preserved, despite the water-damaged ceilings.
