Missing girl who vanished four years ago heard ‘shouting at man’ before reappearing

Missing girl Alicia Navarro found safe after four years talking to police Alicia Navarro allegedly argued with a man she was staying with before showing up at a police station in Havre, Montana, according to a neighbour. The teen turned up four years after she vanished from her Arizona home and just days before her 15th birthday. Neighbours told the New York Post that they heard Navarro arguing with a man the day before she went to the police station in Havre just 40 miles from Canada. “I was here the other day and I heard them yelling. She did say, ‘I will go back.’ But that’s all I heard,” said 22-year-old neighbour Garrett Smith. He added: “It was the day before she turned herself in.” READ MORE: Missing teenager walks into police station four years after vanishing from home Alicia Navarro appeared in Montana around 1,000 miles from her Arizona home. Navarro went to the police station so she could be taken off the missing persons list to get a driver’s license and begin living a ‘normal life’ authorities said. Police listed her missing after she ‘willfully left her home’ in Glendale, Arizona in 2019. It’s unclear how long she lived in the apartment in Havre but Smith said he only spoke to her for the first time a few days before she went to the police station. ‘She said she was walking with her uncle and got lost and she’s looking for 6th Street. I later found out that she was referring to him as her uncle,’ Smith said. He added that the teen looked ‘scared’ and called him ‘mister’ which he found strange as she is only a few years younger than him. Navarro told cops that she had not been hurt.
