Now mum and daughter feel compelled to share their experience in order to remind other women that there is no shame in talking about miscarriage and that it's something people should do more often. Jennifer said: "Nobody talks about miscarriage - nobody talks about it. I just wanted to get it out there, that it's OK to have a miscarriage. There are facilities out there that will help you." Danielle and her partner, Dave, are already parents to three-year-old Noah, but were excited about the prospect of introducing their new son after becoming pregnant last year. As she got through the 12-week milestone, their families started buying presents, items and gifts for the new bundle of joy and planning for the future. But one phone call from Dave to Jennifer world see their world turn upside down. The 43-year-old grandmother told LancsLive: "I had a phone call from my daughter's partner who told me 'there's something up with Danielle'. She's holding her stomach and groaning." Danielle believed her symptoms might be put down to something far less serious but decided to visit the hospital to check on the health of her unborn baby.
