Pep Guardiola’s side lifted an historic treble last term, winning their third domestic league crown in a row. Their dominance did look under some slight threat as Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal produced an impressive season.
City’s quality eventually shone through as they secured the title, with Neville and Carragher struggling to see any side surpassing them throughout the forthcoming campaign. The Manchester United and Liverpool icons were also asked to predict how their former sides would perform this term.
The Red Devils have spent heavily this term. They have signed Mason Mount and Andre Onana for over £100m and look set to sign Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.
