The rumoured £75 price cut for the PS5 is now in effect at multiple retailers, with a bevy of other PlayStation hardware and games reduced too.
Good news: the PlayStation 5 price has dropped by £75, just as was claimed last week. Also good news: this isn’t the only discount as Sony has reduced prices on other select hardware and games.
The bad news is that the discounts are not permanent. Or at least the console price cut is only for two weeks, until August 10.
Still, if you’ve wanted a PlayStation 5 but felt £479.99 was too steep, now is perhaps your best chance to grab the console, as it’s currently going for just £399. Originally it was £404.99 but several stores undercut Amazon and now they’ve beaten them by 99p.
