The legendary American rapper and musician, 51, donated a whopping $10,000 (£7,800) to the funds of Josephine Wright, who is in a legal battle against land developers. Her family have owned her Hilton Head Island home in the US state of South Carolina since the American Civil War, which occurred between 1861 and 1865. She has been sued by Bailey Point Investment LLC, who have claimed that parts of her family home have been built on property they have legal ownership of. The company initially offered Josephine $30k (£23.4k) as part of their plan to build almost 150 homes on the site, but the great-grandmother turned it down. Since then, she has filed a countersuit against Bailey Point and has accused them of 'harassment and intimidation' – soon, hip hop royalty became aware. Bailey Point has claimed that a satellite dish, a shed, and a screened-in porch belonging to Josephine have delayed the construction of the new homes.
