 Vince McMahon has reportedly had a major operation to fix his spine. It's said the 77-year-old was in surgery for four hours last week. According to TMZ, all went well and the businessman is now recovering at home. It's not yet known what the op means for McMahon's WWE future, as a timeframe hasn't been given for his recovery. McMahon's hospital stint comes after he resigned as the company's CEO and chairman last July following sexual misconduct allegations. In April, it was then announced that the wrestling giant has been acquired by the mixed martial arts promotion's parent company Endeavor with WWE and UFC combining as a new sports entertainment firm. At the time of the move, he described it as 'the best thing that's happened in a long, long time.' Asked on CNBC if he'd have made the deal without his scandal, McMahon addressed the accusations against him for the first time. 'Absolutely. Because it makes sense,' he replied. 'Nothing's ever happened like this before and I'm always looking at what's best for our stockholders and our company.' But it's right that we can combine all of this news together at the same time. 'I've made mistakes, obviously, both personally and professionally… I've owned up to every single one of them and moved on.' The allegations in question claimed that McMahon raped a female referee, something he has always denied. He also denied paying other female employees hush money to cover up secret affairs.
