Liverpool have been busy in the transfer window this summer with a number of incomings and outgoings and one youngster looks set to have a role with the first-team next season
Right-back Conor Bradley is set to sign a new three-year contract with Liverpool, suggesting he may be involved with the first-team next season.
Bradley starred on loan at Bolton Wanderers last season, winning their player of the year award as they finished fifth in League One. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of the 20-year-old and revealed in April he wanted to assess Bradley in pre-season before deciding whether to send him out on loan again or keep him in and around the first-team.
“We knew what we had in our hands when he was there, but for young boys there must be an opportunity to make the next step with playing and that was now a typical win-win situation: it was good for us, good for him and good for the club and I liked it a lot,” Klopp said when asked about the full-back’s stint at Bolton.
“Everybody speaks positively about him. I think one-and-a-half years ago only a few football nerds would have known about him and now everybody knows him. That’s cool and that’s the first step.
