Harry and Meghan’s month from hell

As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s inner circle deny reports of a split, The Mirror takes a look back at one of the bumpiest months the duke and duchess have been forced to endure…

Last week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were hit by claims that their marriage is on the rocks amid strain caused by the end of their deal with Spotify. Ugly rumours have circulated on gossip sites, suggesting that they are spending time apart – but pals have said it simply isn’t the case.

An insider close to the couple told Page Six: “It’s not true, it’s literally made up”, whilst Omid Scobie, one of the authors behind the biography Finding Freedom, also rubbished the claims on social media. Even without that, it has been a rollercoaster of a month for Harry and Meghan who have reportedly faced everything from cancelled July 4 parties to being banned from a private club.

Here we take a look at all the challenging hurdles the pair have been forced to face.

Up until the turn of the year, Harry and Meghan’s post-royal projects tended to involve both of them – until the release of Spare. Harry’s memoir was released in January and included claims William physically attacked him, and that King Charles put his own interests above his son’s. He also made allegations against his and claims she “sacrificed me on her personal PR altar”.
