This morning brought the conclusion of a major search of Heuermann's homes and properties which are located in Long Island, South Carolina, and Las Vegas. Rex Heuermann's first-generation Chevy Avalanche was seized from the alleged killer's brother's house in SC last week. Kenneth Gray told Daily Express US: "With the identification and arrest of Rex Heuremann as the suspect, it is important to cast a wide net in the search for evidence. "The vehicle in South Carolina matched a description by an eyewitness in the disappearance of one of the victims. That vehicle may still have evidence associated with the Gilgo Four," continues Gray. "However, Heuremann may have additional victims since the Gilgo Four. Evidence is being sought in the known murders as well as potential undiscovered murders." Gray, who now works as a senior lecturer in the criminal justice department at the University of New Haven, added: "If it has been used by Heuremann, depending on the year of that vehicle, it may contain evidence of the Gilgo Four murders or evidence of additional crimes.
