 Bryan Cranston has hit back at comments made by Disney chief executive Bob Iger in the midst of the ongoing actors and writers strike. Earlier this month Hollywood officially went on strike after US union The Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists voted unanimously to walk out, following weeks of unsuccessful negotiations. Months after the Writers Guild of America (WGA) began their strike, Sag members followed suit. While support has been widespread, Bob, 72, drew the ire of many after saying last week those taking part were causing a 'disruptive' effect on the industry, while the unions joining forces was dubbed 'disturbing'. Now Breaking Bad star Bryan, 67, has slammed the businessman. Attending a Sag-Aftra rally in Times Square on Tuesday morning, Bryan stepped up to the microphone and delivered a fiery speech directed at not only Bob, but other Hollywood executives who failed to agree on a contract with the actors' union. 'I know sir that you look [at] things through a different lens. 'We don't expect you to understand who we are, but we ask you to hear us, and beyond that to listen to us, when we tell you we will not be having our jobs taken away and given to robots,' he added, as reported by EW. He continued: 'We will not have you take away our right to work and earn a decent living. And lastly and most importantly, we will not allow you to take away our dignity.'
