The cause of death for British actor Julian Sands has been determined after the star went missing in January. His body wasn’t found until last month
British actor Julian Sands’ cause of death has been deemed “undetermined” four weeks after the star’s body was found.
Hikers first found the remains of a body at the mountain on June 24 and a few days later on June 27, it was confirmed that the body was Sands. An officer with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department clarified that Sands’ cause of death was ruled ‘undetermined’ due to the condition of the body. He adds that this is a common issue law enforcement is faced with when dealing with cases of this type.
The 65-year-old actor was first reported missing in January after going out on a hike in California’s at Mount Baldy. Julian went missing on January 13, shortly after his 65th birthday, while hiking during dangerous changing conditions in the area.
The beloved star is known for a variety of his performances in well-known films including roles in A Room with a View, Warlock, Boxing Helena, and Arachnophobia. The star had a wide range of talent, acting as characters in a variety of genres including romance dramas, horrors fantasies, and mysteries.
