I tried using AI to slash my broadband and energy bills and it almost worked

As the cost of living rises, more and more people are looking to save on their bills – and turning to AI for answers. I tried out new AI moneysaving tool Nous to see if it actually works

With the return of competitive energy tariffs, more and more people are looking at switching utility providers. Whether it’s mobile, broadband, or electricity, signing up for a better deal can be a surefire way of keeping more money in your pocket.

But finding better offers can be tricky, even when there are so many price comparison sites online.

One UK-based startup is hoping to change all that with the launch of an AI assistant which they claim can help households save up to £1,000 per year.

The app, which is called Nous, claims to provide an ‘automated money saving service’. In short, its software analyses your current outgoings, finds you better deals, then takes care of all the admin required to switch providers.
