 A number of homes have been evacuated following an 'incident involving a property' where a man was found dead. Police and the fire service were called to May Walk in Partington, Greater Manchester just before 10.30am on Sunday morning. The fire service is still at the scene and the details of the incident are still unclear. There's still a cordon in place at the home. A man was found dead at the scene and his family has been told and are being supported by police. Staff from Cadent gas service are also reported to have attended the scene. A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: 'Just before 10.30am this morning (Sunday 23rd July), four fire engines from Gorton, Altrincham, Sale and Eccles fire station attended an incident involving a property on May Walk, Partington. 'Firefighters have been in attendance for around two hours and are still at the scene.' A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: 'GMP are currently in attendance to an incident in May Walk, Partington. The fire service and police are in attendance (Picture: MEN Media) 'Sadly, despite best efforts of emergency services, a man has been pronounced deceased at the scene. 'His family are aware and are being supported. A cordon remains in place. The death is being treated as non-suspicious.'
