She announced her return alongside the legendary singer-songwriter with Hold Me Closer, which reached number three in the UK chart in August last year. Earlier this month, Britney announced that her memoir, The Woman in Me, would contain revelations about her career and be released in October 2023. And on Friday, her new single Mind Your Business – her second collaboration with Black Eyed Peas rapper and producer Will.i.am – officially dropped. But it's not the single Britney's fans were hoping for, and they took to social media in their droves to complain. 'Not gonna lie, kinda disappointed with Britney's AI-like new song,' one fan commented, echoing the general vibe online. A second fan then described it as 'painful to listen to', sharing a video of Ann Widdecombe complaining about 'volume' while in the Big Brother house in 2018, which is one way to get your point across. One Britney fan heavily criticised Mind Your Business, which has already hit number 1 on the iTunes chart, calling it 'the longest three minutes of my life'.
