It was in December 2022 that Ariana flew off to London to begin filming the Wicked adaptation alongside Ethan. During that time, it was reported that issues between Ariana and Dalton were occurring. Distance may not have been the only issue in the relationship. According to reports from Radar Online, Dalton "struggled to come to terms with being married to one of the world's biggest celebrities." Apparently, Dalton has been dating around as well. The pair were reportedly trying to reconcile their relationship at one point, but to no avail. Instead, they've agreed to just be friends and apparently still talk on the phone a good bit. An insider told Page Six : 'They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.'
