Despite the gripping storyline of the series - which stars BAFTA nominee Timothy Spall and Irish actor Eanna Hardwicke - the BBC drama has received complaints. The stellar cast also includes the likes of Anne Reid, Annabel Scholey and BAFTA nominee Sheila Hancock. It was also made in full co-operation with family members of both Peter Farquhar and Ann Moore-Martin who supported the show and were allowed to view episodes before they were shown on air. However, local residents of Maids Moreton in Buckinghamshire where the murders took place are absolutely furious with the publicly funded broadcaster. One neighbour told The Mail Online: "I knew Peter well and I am not happy with the drama. I don't want to talk about it." Another who moved into the area after the murders took place remarked: "I didn't want to watch the TV show. I think it's quite insensitive. It wasn't very long ago.
