He revealed the franchise have had some conversations with the Hard Knocks team, which he has since been taken on board. 'They've got a great group of people working with us,' he said. 'We expressed some of our concerns, they answered them.' This comes after the reports stated the Jets will limit HBO's filming access for the new series. They were forced to appear on Hard Knocks after being one of four teams eligible to appear and none of them volunteered. According to ESPN, the Jets do not believe it is 'humane' for some of the players most vulnerable moments to be filmed, such as being granted their release. The Jets are set to prohibit members of the media members from documenting the rooms where the coaching staff stage private conversations. When it was first announced the Jets would be the star of Hard Knocks in 2023, Saleh's initial response was one of disappointment. "I know there's several teams that would love for Hard Knocks to be in their building, but we're just not one of them," he said back in June. When ESPN reported the Jets will be the team's focus through the summer, a 2022 interview with Rodgers resurfaced. During the conversation, host Bill Maher asked the former MVP if he'd approve of the Green Bay Packers, his team at the time, being the focus of the show. The 39-year-old simply replied 'no'.
