Fresh court papers appear to blow apart Prince Andrew’s emphatic claim he only saw Jeffrey Epstein once after the paedophile was freed from jail.
And a victim of the late US financier branded evidence that the King’s brother shared dinner with him while he was under house arrest at his Florida mansion “damning”.
In November 2019 Andrew told the BBC’s Emily Maitlis on ÂNewsnight he went to New York to visit Epstein in December 2010 only to break off their friendship â and that was after his 2008 13-month jail sentence had ended.
But according to the court papers, the pair had lunch in June that year, while the US tycoon was under a 12-month house arrest order and they had kept in touch.
