Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has overseen some major changes at Old Trafford since taking charge last year, with the Dutchman looking to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title again
Jadon Sancho and Antony have been warned the emergence of young starlet Alejandro Garnacho could see them axed by Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.
The Dutchman has not been afraid to get ruthless since taking charge at Old Trafford last summer and just this month took the decision to strip Harry Maguire of the captaincy and replace him with Bruno Fernandes. And it has been suggested that Ten Hag could sideline two big money signings Sancho and Antony in favour of Garnacho next season.
The 19-year-old made 34 appearances for United last season, chipping in with ten goal contributions before missing two months of action towards the back end of the campaign with an ankle injury. In comparison, Antony made 11 goal contributions in 44 appearances following an £81.3m from Ajax while Sancho made ten in 46 games.
Both players have come in for criticism over their performances, while Sancho has been linked with an exit. And former Premier League striker Gabriel Agbonlahor feels Garnacho will keep Antony and Sancho out of the side next season as he continues to develop.
