Two new Nintendo projects are already rumoured ahead of an expected September showcase, including the Metroid Prime 2 remaster.
Last month’s Nintendo Direct announced a number of new Nintendo Switch games scheduled for the remainder of the year and beyond, including Super Mario Bros. Wonder and a Super Mario RPG remake.
However, a few Nintendo projects remained absent; namely Metroid Prime 4 and the long-rumoured Switch ports of The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.
Nintendo’s track record means there’ll most likely be another Direct in September and a new rumour already points to two potential announcements related to Metroid and Zelda.
These come courtesy of frequent insider Jeff Grubb, who was one of the first to talk about a Switch remaster of the first Metroid Prime, which finally arrived earlier this year.
