Major high street banks to close 44 more branches from this year

ANOTHER 44 banks are going to be shutting their doors.

Lloyds Banking Group is shutting a whole host of branches across England, Scotland and Wales.

Those closing include Halifax, Lloyds and Bank of Scotland banks.

Data from the UK’s largest cash machine network, LINK, keeps track of any planned branch closures across the UK.

The majority will shut their doors towards the end of this year, while the rest will close in 2024.
