Taking to Annabelle's Instagram page to share a photo, her family penned: "This is Annabelle's family. We're writing this with heavy, heavy hearts." They went on: "Annabelle experienced an epileptic event and has gone on to the gates of heaven. She struggled with this for a long time and wanted to raise awareness for it, which we will do in honour of her." According to the NHS, "Epilepsy is a common condition that affects the brain and causes frequent seizures. Seizures are bursts of electrical activity in the brain that temporarily affect how it works. They can cause a wide range of symptoms." They also state: "Epilepsy can start at any age, but usually starts either in childhood or in people over 60." Although Annabelle's cause of death is not official, her family are continuing to cite the cause as epilepsy. One of the YouTuber's sisters, Alexandria Ham, has recently spoken out with her saying that she "struggled with epilepsy for a while", as per The Post. She also told the outlet: "She was always so happy and looked for ways to make every day, situation, or outing better. There really aren't adequate words for how good she was."
