COPS have arrested two people on suspicion of murder after a 40-year-old woman was found dead on a street near a Rochdale school.
Kerry Newman was tragically discovered by police near Ashfield Valley Primary School on New Barn Lane, Greater Manchester, at around 4.30am on July 17.
Greater Manchester Police have since arrested a man, 48, and woman, 52, on suspicion of murder.
They remain in custody for further questioning while the investigation is ongoing.
A spokesperson from the force stated: “Further enquiries also suggests that Kerry was taken from an address in Freehold to New Barn Lane in Rochdale where she was subsequently found deceased, of which the cause of her death is unknown.”
