White House says UFOs and UAPs ‘a real issue’ that are impacting USAF

UFO hearing: Pentagon shows Senate mysterious flying orb The White House has said that UFOs (unidentified flying objects) or UAPs (Unexplained Aerial Phenomena) are a “real issue” – and then revealed that they are having “an impact” on the United States Air Force. The admission was made by John Kirby – the White House’s Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council – during a media briefing on Monday (July 17). When asked if the phenomena were a “legitimate concern”, he said: “Yeah. We wouldn’t have stood up an organisation at the Pentagon to analyse and collect and coordinate the way these sightings are reported if we didn’t take it seriously.” Kirby, a retired United States Navy rear admiral, continued: “Some of these Phenomena, we know, have already had an impact on our training ranges. Pilots are out trying to do training in the air and they see these things.” John Kirby at the White House media briefing “They’re not sure what they are, but they can have an impact on their ability to perfect their skills. So it’s already had an impact here.” “We just want to better understand it. We’re not saying what they are – or what they’re not. “We’re saying there’s something that our pilots are seeing. We’re saying it has had an effect on some of our training operations – and so we want to get to the bottom of it. We want to understand it better. So, yes.” It comes just days after New York Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer announced new legislation that would create a commission with the authority to declassify government documents about UFOs. And, previously, Republican Florida Senator Marco Rubio said that multiple whistleblowers with access to restricted government information have claimed first-hand knowledge about US activity involving UFOs. In an interview with NewsNation, Rubio – vice chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence – said: “People who we entrusted to do some really important things for our country are saying some pretty incredible things that I think we have an obligation to take seriously and listen to.’ SUBSCRIBE Invalid email We use your sign-up to provide content in ways you’ve consented to and to improve our understanding of you.
