A BBC Breakfast presenter suffered an unfortunate gaffe while reporting on a developing news story live on-air, when her voice reached a cartoonishly high pitch due to a technical glitch.
It has been announced that the Australian state of Victoria has pulled out from hosting the Commonwealth Games in 2026, having volunteered for the role last year.
The state outlined that the cost of hosting the event would have been too much, with the approximate budget supposedly tripling its projected amount.
