Discussing the true-crime BBC series on Monday, Coronation Street and Last Tango in Halifax star Anne said that she had met some of the victims' real-life family while filming. Anne revealed that she had met Ann Moore-Martin's niece, Anne-Marie, who is played by Annabel Scholey in the BBC series, and Peter Farquhar's brother. The actress added: "It must be weird, I don't know what I'd feel about having my relatives played by [actors]. But they seem desperate to want this story to be told. "There was a documentary about it too but they want the story told too." Also during the interview, Anne left host Lorraine Kelly in disbelief over her real age, which the host promised not to reveal live on air.
