JONNY EVANS completed a shock short-term return to Manchester United earlier today.
The veteran centre-back was on the Red Devils’ books between 2004 and 2015.
Evans, 35, won three Premier League titles under Sir Alex Ferguson.
He was part of the last United side to win the Prem in the 2012-13 season.
Following the exits of David de Gea and Phil Jones earlier this summer, Evans is the only player member of that side remaining on the Red Devils’ books.
