Novak Djokovic labelled a ‘villain’ by former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Novak Djokovic has been labelled a ‘villain’ by former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash.

Djokovic was booed during his semi-final win over Jannik Sinner with one spectator screaming ‘come on Rafa’ in reference to his rival Rafael Nadal.

The Serbian responded by sarcastically clapping the crowd and wiping away a fake tear after saving two set points in the third set on his way to victory.

Cash won Wimbledon in 1987 and has offered an explanation as to why Djokovic is seen as more of a villain figure than the likes of Roger Federer and Nadal.
