Liverpool endured a difficult season under the German last time out, finishing fifth in the Premier League following an inconsistent run of form which featured some sharp declines before a late rally. Klopp has been hugely successful since taking the reins in October 2015 but he now has to prove his worth through a rebuild.
The Reds are currently in Germany going through the early stages of pre-season training. Fitness is the first focus for now, but with friendlies against Karlsruher SC and Greuther Furth coming up, ahead of a trip to Singapore, things will get ramped up soon.
