Three dead and four people missing, including 9-month baby after flash floods

At least three people were killed Saturday and four others have been reported missing after flash flooding in eastern Pennsylvania

At least four people have died and up to a dozen more are missing – including a 9-month-old baby – after flash flooding and several inches of rain rocked southeast Pennsylvania.

At least four inches of torrential rain an hour fell during the heart of the storm at around 5:30 p.m., officials said. Dean Iovino with the National Weather Service said more rain fell in two hours than the city of Las Vegas receives in a year.

Two women and a man, ranging in age from 40 to 60s, have been found dead. Four people were missing, three females and a male. Among the missing was a 9-month-old baby.

Brewer declined to identify the relationships of the victims but said “one family has been severely affected.”
