Three people arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenage boy was fatally stabbed in Stourbridge town centre have been released under investigation

Police investigating the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy have released three people who were arrested on suspicion of murder.

West Midlands Police said the victim, from Birmingham, was pronounced dead around five miles away from the scene of Saturday’s stabbing in Stourbridge, after being driven to an address in the Rowley Regis area.

The teenager was stabbed in Stourbridge last night with police called to Coventry Street.

He was able to escape the attack and was driven to Orchard Close in Rowley Regis, where he was pronounced dead.
