A mysterious and disturbing piece of evidence has been found in the home of the Gilgo Beach murder suspect.
The police discovered a child-sized doll with fair hair in a glass case while searching the childhood home of accused serial killer Rex Heuermann.
Heuermann, a 59-year-old architect and married father of two, was arrested and charged with murder in connection with the deaths of three women found wrapped in burlap along Ocean Parkway on Long Island, New York.
The doll was found among other items taken from the house as potential evidence in the ongoing investigation.
