Zane Gbangbola’s dad, Kye, has raised concerns over history repeating itself, as housing developers continue to build properties near dumping grounds thought to be filled with drums of cyanide
A dad who believes his seven-year-old son was killed by hydrogen cyanide poisoning is still battling to raise awareness over the “ticking time bomb” nearly a decade later.
Zane Gbangbola died when his Surrey home was “infused” with the toxic gas during floods in February 2014, his family claim.
His dad, Kye, was found unconscious just six feet away and left paralysed from the waist down due to exposure to cyanide, according to medical documents.
Firefighters backed up the family’s version of events after finding the chemical inside their property.
