But Glenariff Waterfall, also known as the Ess-Na-Crub Waterfall, in Co Antrim, has come out as amongst the most beautiful. Premier Inn conducted an eye-tracking study of over 50 of the most beautiful lakes, rivers and waterfalls in the UK and globally to reveal the most beautiful blue spaces to visit this summer. The waterfalls were the only Northern Irish attraction to make the top ten list, coming in at fifth. Glenarriff Waterfall hidden in the Glens of Antrim beat out many of the more popular NI tourist locations such as the north coast and the Giant's Causeway to be named the country's most beautiful blue space. BelfastLive reported Premier Inn said: "Summer is well and truly here, with scorching weather and longer days encouraging us to seek out the refreshing blue spaces our beautiful planet has to offer. "The study used a unique methodology to analyse the objective beauty of these blue spaces: participants looked at a series of images of the world's water wonders and eye-tracking technology was then used to reveal which images drew the human eye most. "Based in the Glenariff Nature Reserve and known as one of the Nine Glens of Antrim, the Glenariff Waterfall is referred to locally as 'tears of the mountain'. "The cascading falls can be admired on the Glenariff Forest Park Waterfall walk which takes visitors along a peaceful riverside path leading to the blue space deep in the valley." Top of the list was The Loe lake in Cornwall, England, referred to as Loe Pool it's one of the UK's largest freshwater lakes and definitely doesn't disappoint anyone making the visit down.
