NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
London’s ULEZ is one of the most well-known clean air zone schemes in the United Kingdom, putting a charge on non-compliant cars in a bid to improve air quality and tackle emissions.
It initially included parts of Central London, but later this year it will expand across all boroughs and operate for 24 hours a day.
The scheme isn’t necessarily popular with a lot of people, but some have argued for the environmental benefits – if projected figures and the Year One Report prove accurate.
