The Giants quarterback was rewarded with a surprisingly hefty contract after three mediocre seasons followed by a solid year in 2022 – with his teammates confident that he’ll continue to progress
New York Giants offensive lineman Mark Glowinski has warned the rest of the NFL that the team’s quarterback, Daniel Jones, is set to make another leap this coming season.
Jones had his best year last time out and was rewarded with a four-year, £122million ($160m) extension deal – making him one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the league.
It’s a huge showing of faith to Jones, but his lineman are confident that he’ll be even better this upcoming season – the second year under head coach Brian Daboll who joined from the Buffalo Bills.
Daboll won Coach of the Year award in his first year as a head coach with the Giants, and has been credited in aiding Jones’ development – something Glowinski knows will continue.
